Dear Rick and Maggie,
Just a note to say thanks for the rental of Sacheverel. We had a great time, though we did have a bit of trouble finding it.....When we finally arrived it was certainly worth the drive. We were very pleased. You seemed to have thought of everything for your guests' comfort. Everything was so clean and tidy and some things seemed brand new, it reminded us of a show house! We met Emma and Ross briefly and they were very friendly and helpful[/italic].

Hi Rick,
Just a quick note to say thanks for the quick return of our deposit. Sorry this didn't come sooner but our home e-mail has decided to go on strike and I've been off work.
we once again had a lovely holiday and the weather was very good to us, the gite was again a real home from home, couldn't wish for more.
Hopefully we'll manage a week sometime next year
Thanks again

We really don't want to go home! We are pretty fussy about where we stay on holiday and Sacheverel comes right up to scratch. Rick and Maggie have attended to every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. There is lots to see but we were far too relaxed to venture out too often. Ross and Emma are lovely helpful people..

We had a great itme and we are very sorry to be leaving! Thanks to the pool fence - it enabled 2 young boys to enjoy the freedom of the garden without everyone else getting grey hair!

Just a line to say many thanks for the prompt refund of our security deposit.
On behalf of ourselves & our friends we would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your superbly equipped villa. There was nothing lacking (except perhaps umbrellas – the rainy type). However though we had a bit of everything weatherwise for the most part it was sunny & warm (even the pool was up to 20 degrees after a few days of sunshine).
.
For information the restaurant/pub Petite Guerson no longer does food – we noted it in your info sheets.
Congratulations on a perfect holiday facility, we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did.
Wishing you a successful season,
Regards

We have been coming to France for many years and we both agree this is the best villa we’ve ever had.
This has been a first class base to explore the new region for us.

Another great holiday in France! Although the sun did not shine for few first days it finally got its warmth at the end of the week. The Children enjoyed the pool (and the adults to be honest) every day.
We made tours from the dunes (Cape Ferret) to Lascaux 2 visiting Bordeaux and St Emilion. A lot to see, so little time!
Have a nice summer.

Normally we are keen to leave and get home once the holiday is over. This time we did not! The two weeks have flown by - cannot believe we have spent two weeks here!
The villa is all you need for a great holiday. We had a few inclement days but the villa is so well equipped that it was not too bad.The pool is fabulous too. Cannot be faulted.
We admit that in all the years we have been comiing to France this villa is by far the best. Would definitely consider coming back - which is more than we could say for any other villa. Thank you

Here we are again! We have had the most restful and comfortable holiday. The weather has been very kind to us and it has been great to just lie in the sun and read (and sleep!). Everyhting is so well appointed, especially in the kitchen. It makes it so easy to cook a simple meal and still be here to enjoy the garden and the pool. We went out for some meals and I have put the details in the book about places to go - if you want a real down to earth French peasant meal Ferme Auberge du jolibois, just outside St Martin de Gurcon on the D32.
Thank you Maggie and Rick for providing such a lovely place. June and Michael marketis Northampton.

An eventful week! We've enjopyed lounging by the pool when its been hot and visiting St Emilion, St Foy and Riberac. The villa has proved ideal: every contingency catered for and beautifully maintained by the ever helpful Emma and Ross (Thank you both!) We hope to be back soon.

We can only agree with previous commments that the villa is absolutely lovely - home from home- very comfortable. We've had a relaxing holiday - visiting the local area and local restaurants/barts -our favourite being in Monpeyroux - La Guarida- I think! We've had mixed weather - sunny and hot- and also cloudy with a little rain but the pool was used most days -thank you for the use of inflatables - especially the boat and the volyball - many a tournament played by all! Garden also used by the boys for cricket and tennis. Reecommend visits to St Emilion and La Roque Gageac (near Sarlaat - a bit of a drive), St Foy market. We hope to make a return visit to Sacheverel! Thank you Rick and Maggie.

Absolutley fantastic week. Facilities were wonderful! We loved the badminton and vollyball nets and the girls thoroughly enjoyed the dinghy. Terrifically well equipped villa and the oak tree perfect for all day shade! So good we found it hard to tear ourselves away. Saying that we liked the atmosphere at the Lac De Gurson and the lively evening at the night market in Le Pizou. Greta to have Ross here when we needed him

We echo the comments of the other - we have rented many villas and this is one of the best. Very well equipped - suitable for hot and cooler weather. Fab fun for 4 mad adults. Badminton, boules, water vollyball, swimming, cricket and sailing!! - in the dinghy of cause. We will certainly recommend this to friends and family. However we wouldn't be surprised if it was always fully booked. The local towns were okay but as long as the weather was good we were happy here. We were surprised by the amount of rain but compared to the Uk we got off lightly and certainly cannot blame Ross much as he tried to apologise.
Mnay thanks to all - Bruce and Eccleston families
